Used ones are very scarce in most areas !! If you can swing it, take the ins money and add some to it and go for a new one !! Otherwise be prepared to shop long and hard and be prepared to drive a long distance.

    1969 evinrude 25 horse 2 stroke won’t start

In daylight they may appear more yellowish but in lowlight they should be more bluish to have a real hot spark. Not saying a yellow spark wont run an engine, but when someone says they have a really good spark and it is white/ yellow, then it is not a really hot spark! Years back, my company...

That tape is also availiable in clear and about a 1/16" thick, that might make it appear to be floating off the surface !!

    Metal Boat Lettering

Most lettering or 3d advertisement is held on by double stick foam tape. Many companies now make it, if properly installed, that stuff holds extremely well !! I just bought some " Gorilla glue" extreme double sided tape that is exterior/marine rated, it is super sticky !!!

    1988 HarborCraft?

I do remember seeing them in my younger days...big heavy tug boat like craft...not very popular if my memory is correct. Unless you want a big deep project you might consider it a parts boat.

    1969 evinrude 25 horse 2 stroke won’t start

Did you run a compression check? Without good even compression, your wasting your time !! Get a spark gap tool, they are cheap, you need to be able to jump at least a 1/4" gap !! Spark should be blue, yellow indicates a weak spark ! These are quick, easy things to check to see if your motor...

    Minn-kota 24v 4 wire charger

On my boat the onboard charger has four wires with two going to each battery. The charger is connected to the other two onboard chargers, so a single 110v plug activates all chargers. Only the batteries that need charged are charged. I have two 31's for the TM, another 31 for a house battery (...

Trailer Question - want to drill a new hole into the frame to move crossbar supporting wobble roller

When you drill the larger hole be sure your drill is going slower than when you drilled the smaller 1/4" hole. Squirt some oil or wd40 on while drilling to keep the drill bit cooler.

Johnson Outboard 9.5 1973 9R73B can hardly pull start with spark plugs in but with plugs removed pulls very easy

If spurting oil out of the plug hole....then you have a hydro lock...to much oil !! Probably fouled the plugs...keep pulling to clear out the excess crap !! Once it has shot most of it out, put in new plugs, fresh gas/oil mix...not old stuff...new !! See if that gets her goin...My guess is...

    Johnson vs Merc

Sounds like a lot of hp for a 15' tri hull ??? Tri hulls haven't been made for many years so the odds of having a hull with internal rot on stringers and transom is quite high, unless you are currently rebuilding this hull. Not tryin to burst your bubble here, just want you to be prepared....

    Minn-kota 24v 4 wire charger

In my opinion, that would not be a safe/ best way to charge batteries. An onboard charger with leads directly to the batteries would be more effiecient and safer !!!

    No Redline

Adjust your prop to reach max wot rpm with the lightest load you ever run, then when you run a normal load you will be good to go...that is how I have done it for years!! If you tow toys or have large loads on ocassion, then have a spare prop with 2" less pitch to swap over.
