    Water in my bilge

There is a possibility that the water is comming thru the transom bolts if the transom is starting to go bad. As the wood inside compresses a small amount of water begins to seep in thru those thru bolts....very difficult to detect !!!!! As stated while underwayvthey wont leak but...

Hard to have a solution when there is no problem to begin with...all boats shoot spray in various directions when up on plane, unless it is creating a problem, there is nothing to solve.

    Spindle pitting or discoloration?

The bearings dont spin on the spindle, it just holds them in place so the wheel/ tire can rotate. The bearungs should not be a sloppy fit, they are actually held in place by the races. New to me Livingston not performing at its best

You sure your motor is running up to par?? Had a 14' Starcraft with a 15 hp Evinrude that jumped up on plane easily, little slower with two guys and fishing gear but still got up. I would be sure your motor is running its best...try doing a compression test to check its health.
