    Ah the missing gun. I know how that goes. My mother had 22 lever action that my grandfather had custom made for her and it went missing. I always suspected my Nephew pawned it. He was a real A-Hole in his teens. All I remember about it was it had a beautiful beach wood stock.

    Gota love NewEngland weather. I left for work this am it was 38* with a beautiful sunrise buy 10 it was clear sunny skies and 50 the rain moved in around 11:30 freezing rain by 4 and I just drove home in 2” of snow. It felt like a soup night so I made a Matzo and chicken soup for dinner.

    All I can say is I have no desire to eat pink poultry or pork. I’m a 170 guy for that. Even ground beef I prefer 140 or so. But 118 with a 10 min rest for a fat juicy steak. I’m getting hungry.

    I think the point was the oil will raise the compression numbers a bit. I wouldn’t sweat it the number are close and not low. Get it going and after running it a few times check the compression again so you have numbers for future reference.

    Seems to me if they were all out that far you would get little to no response from fine adjustments. Sounds like you’re on the right track now and things are looking up. Best
