    Boss's boat.....worlds fastest v-hull

There will always be a need and desire for more speed. For me in my younger years it was always a blast to go fast in or on anything but it was never fast enough at the end of the day.

    Choke stays closed

Can you push the key in on your control box? As if it were a push button? Turn the key and push on it and see if you get power to the choke wire. Let us know if that doesn’t make sense and I’ll try again.

    Climate change and fishing

Maybe I should have mentioned salt water specifically. The Red Fish also know as Red Drum are normally a more southern fish as are the others mentioned. I used to catch these fish in Fl all the time. I have been on Cape Cod for over 30 years now and never heard of these fish showing up until the...

    Choke stays closed

Not sure what kind of controls you have but the choke should only work when you push the key in or if you have some sortof momentary switch. It should close for cold start only and be wide open for normal run. You have it wired wrong at the moment.

1990 Evinrude 3HP, dies when throttle opened more than half

You’re so right. That’s why I always go OEM when possible. I feel like these parts might just go through quality control and I’m will to pay a little extra for that.

Which one is the boss gasket?

All bets are off with a kit from Amazon. You may or may not have what you need in the kit and what is in it may or may not be correct and 9 x out of 10 the gaskets will melt when they get fuel on them. Some people will asked me to use their supplied parts and if thats what they have I just...

Remember when they thought it was a good idea to drop the barrels on the ocean floor. Who knows how many were really dumped but it’s sure to surface someday.

    Boss's boat.....worlds fastest v-hull

I love watching these boats. I always looked forward to the offshore Grand Prix when I lived in Sarasota Fl. That was in the 80’s and the Popeyes team was the one to fear at the time.

Oh man. What way to to the day. Were you able to reach and handle to at least lift your off the floor? Yeah that shaking off thing only works for kids. The last accident I was in I decided to shake it off and refused the ambulance service. Later that day I caught a ride to the ER. Had 3...

Did you have a spare part when you did the carb? That nozzle gasket often gets tossed aside and over looked on reassembly.

    1957 Johnson Rd-19 35hp questions

If you have the pump for the oil you could adapt that to work with a bike pump. If you don’t have a way to hook up a gauge drop it in water and look for bubbles. It only needs like 10 psi so don’t over do it with a compressor.

Pic’s have been a problem for a few weeks now but its being worked on. The manual position would be for say your battery was dead and you had to start manually. The solenoid normally works when you push the key in. It acts like a choke only better. I grew up in Fl and recall some cool...
