    What you say is true the fuel pump is not going to help. Pretty sure you just tried too many things on this motor instead of focusing on what was really wrong.

    After it dies what do the spark plugs say to you...."we are wet? Or, man we're dry!" Does it lean sneeze and die or other.... Try choke or cupping carb/fuel spray? Right now you are guessing and throwing parts at it, you sound desperate. I'm sure Mr Wilson will chime in soon.

    Any miracle goo in a tube but best to use marine grade. I find these work well to hold the gearcase if needed.

    Try pumping the primer ball when it starts to bog out....if it returns to normal then your guess is correct.

    Sounds good really. Sneeze but your idle is low I believe.....set the idle in the boat running. After a zip around the lake, she probably will clear up because that's how they were designed. I forgot to send this...it was made several days ago.

    Link and sync is not correct. Move the cam 1/4 to 1/2 inch forward of the lines.

    Sounds to me like you slightly pulled the shift shaft out....could this have happened? If so we can tell you how to put it back.

    Hence the reason I always suggest unplugging the box from the motor. Best way to send videos is YouTube. Extremely easy to make and send the link.

    Yes, all those things matter....so does starting it. I met gobs of people that start them wrong. Find a friend that has more knowledge of your outboard or watching YouTube videos. If you have a friend have him come over you guys can have a beer talk about what's correct.

    Kroll? Never mentioned that. It de-carbons....de-whatever you need stuff. Common on every mechanics shelf. No special crap needed.
