    That could very well be the problem. Is that the dreaded gray fuel line? May as well check your filters as well and if you have that same line after the filter and before the carbs you may have some debris in the carbs. Do away with that line and go for cruise.

    Any chance of a video of this happening? There are several things that are possible. Fuel delivery, intermittent spark, gear case, motor mounted to high, damaged prop caveating and so on

    Why would an outboard Mechanic?

    Take the bolt out and see what you find. Maybe they lost the bolts and that one was too long so the hose was used as a spacer. Who knows.

    A buddy of mine once told me he called a lock smith to open a digital safe and all he did was place a magnet in just the right place. I don’t how true that story is or if it was a special type of magnet but it wouldn’t surprise me if that all it takes.

    I have never seen one before either only heard about them. But I did see a white Peacock once. Beautiful bird. And I found this deer in my yard awhile back.

    It’s almost over. But saying that I just remembered years ago maybe 97’ we had over 2’ of the white stuff on April 1st. Ya just never know what Mother Nature has planned for us.
