    Is there a lot of growth on the hull? You can mark your prop with a marked to check and see if it is slipping. Mark the prop and the hub and after a run check to see if the mark no longer line up. With your rpm’s running high it could possibly be a spun hub. Best.

    If you were using wire on the ideal jet you may have damaged the plastic seat. Did you replace that seat? Not many people do or even know it exists.

    You should be able to rotate the flywheel by hand. Sounds like something is wrong internally to me. When is the last time this motor ran?

    This is getting expensive for you! I hate to ask but is this happening in the same location each time? As in are you hitting a log or rock? Has the water level dropped and left you in uncharted waters? I don’t know what else to say.
