Control box and ignition switch for 1971 Johnson 70 hp Sea Horse motor

Another control box for a Johnson Hydro Electric Shift. Well you can replace it with an Evinrude Push Button Control box for the Hydro-Electric Shift models. Beware, in either Scenario, make sure it is not a Control Box for the Electric Shift motors, as they are not interchangeable

Merc Outboard - 2 Year Old Engine Failure, 5 Year Extended Warranty Denied

Spraying the Fogging Oil into the Throttle Body, will allow it to coat everything, including sensors, and anything else upstream of the injectors, there is nothing that will/can wash it off. In Carbed Engines, Gasoline was everywhere, and would wash the Fogging Oil off.

Johnson 3 cyl 70 hp, 1986. No vacuum at one carburator

Spraying Starting Fluid into a 2 Stroke is pretty much one of the worst things you can do to it. Ether, the main Ingredient , is a very effective Oil Remover, and if a carb isn't supplying Fuel, that Cylinder isn't getting any Fresh Oil. Same goes for the Gas you tried, I hope there was Oil...

    1150 Link & Sync Question

The boat is little larger than I thought it would be. Do you have a Tachometer? If yes, what is the maximum RPM the motor can Attain? If no, get one. A tach is essential in choosing a Prop that allows the engine to run in its recommended RPM Range at WOT, which on your engine is 4800-5300 rpm...
