    I’m in indiana. We have some water but nothing major near me. How much would you expect to pay for a 25 hp motor? I see them all the way from $100-$1500+.

    It must be a slow time of year for motors because very few long shaft 25 horsepowers in my area. Spring should produce some more I hope.

    Thanks for the info. Would y’all go as high horse power as the boat will allow? I’ve got a little 6 hp motor on it and it’s good for a pond but that’s about it.

    I get it now. I own a 15’ Lund that requires a long shaft motor, and they don’t seem to be as readily available as a short shaft. I will look at the motors suggested above to see if I can find a one for my boat.
