    I’m 99% sure I saw him last year. I got permission to hunt a sizable property last fall and on my very first sit there a buck with a very similar rack walked through but I couldn’t get a shot. So I put that cam there early this spring.

    That’s bad news. I’ve lost a few friends to addiction. Ugly buisness it is! Heroin, booze. It’s actually the alcohol that seems to be the slow grind till it finally takes you. The drugs seem to progress till an overdose and it’s over.

    I don’t think it’s all that harmless, and see no humor in it at all. Putting pressure on folks that are green at the ramp is no joke. Could lead to them damaging their boat or harming themselves.     You won’t see me anywhere near a lake on a holiday. Being retired I avoid holidays and the weekends, I fish weekdays only. Not that I wasn’t part of the weekend warriors when I was working. I was out there in the fray.

    I crush the barbs down when I use tubes. Bass tend to inhale those and often get hooked deep. For ease of removal.

    I have FFS on my Crestliner. It’s pretty neat and all, but honestly I don’t much care for it, and I think it’s over rated. I don’t even turn it on anymore. You find yourself looking a a screen more than you are fishing, not my thing. I talk to quite a few guys at the ramp that feel the same way...

    I wear my inflatable life vest 100% of the time. The inflatables are so lite and not at all bulky. Don’t even know I have it on. My passengers it’s up to them, but if the weather gets up they WILL put one on.
