    New Stuff on Vehicles likes/dislikes

Maybe I should have said the cable on my Rams is used to engage/disengage the parking lock in tranny and F/N/R position. It uses switches to limit max up shift gear while driving

    Mercruiser Setting Timing on 3.0L

Agree up/down not turn, does not matter if you can turn it then it may be in the right spot but may also be just past it, based on how hard your turning. It can always be turned unless it's too tight already Because everyone has one, here's mine I don't bother with TDC other than when setting...

    Loosing Faith in Humanity . . .

Tax deductions note The good thing is next to no one "needs" to give things to charity because a married couple filing joint gets a flat $31,500 deduction. So giving to charity, home interest deduction, and other charities gains most nothing. The bad, many charities are having a really hard...

    Mercruiser Setting Timing on 3.0L

Kenny knows what he is talking about, do only what manufacture recommends. No sealant is needed on head bolts of a 3.0 but if you want to go for it, just don't use a lot If OEM says use nothing, use nothing Ever see a gasket come out from under a valve cover because someone used silicone on...

1997 Mercruiser 4.3 LX not running steady steady at idle or higher RPM's

Are you grounding the Pur/Wht wire before setting timing? Being a 1997 you should have TB5 ignition, and timing should be at 10* BTDC The inconsistent rpm is usually caused by the carb. You cleaned it but it may need more cleaning or adjustments not done correctly

Volvo Penta V6-240 Fuel High Pressure Dropping to Zero

Welcome There might be to many zero's here. Fuel pressure should be 50 to 60 psi Limp mode clears on it's own once the sensors tell the ECM all is good
