    Correctly I don't see how the kill switch is the problem because you said The purple is not getting power so it's currently not the kill switch

    I think you might be getting the shift bracket distance from the cable length distance You screw the tube in as far as it will go, than tighten the nut down

    VIDEO links The vids will show how to adjust cable. If you are unable to get it to work both ways consistently than the lower cable most likely needs to be replaced

    I'm unable to make out the numbers on the box but looks like a TBV ignition module The hoses are there so that any blow by gets sucked into the motor via the flame arrestor

    Did you swap a 409 for a 409, or another motor to a 409?

    Don't see any issue with the setup at the water heater. I'll go back to in post 2, think the hot/cold lines are swapped/mixed up All other faucets work correctly, only the helm one has the issue. Follow the line into the boat and see which line its connected

    The key switch purple wire has 12V with key ON and 4V when cranking. The red/purple wire comes from the 50 amp breaker on the motor, to the 10 pin connector, to a 20amp fuse/breaker at the helm, to the key switch You have a bad connection either the key switch or something else between key...
