    Also you'll need to make sure the temp is actually rising/getting up to temperature... A stuck open thermostat from engine cold can keep the temp from reaching a point that it won't read on the gauge...Say right around 100 degrees may not move the needle much/any. Also depending on T/housing...

    Yes thanks, that number 0D419977 is coming up as an 1990 MERCRUISER BRAVO TRANSOM BRAVO TRANSOM model number 6020000CR. I'll look around to see if I recall what the hole was used for if it was stock....That mentioned it may have been added by someone for something...You may have to size it up...

    This happens somewhat often on these designed HVS, flat distributor cap, rotor assemblies keeping the engine from starting or running correctly. Check the rotor to ensure it seated properly too...(Not sitting cockeyed) Most likely the issue, good luck.

    Have you tried opening up the throttle say 1/4 to 100% while cranking to see if it's a lack of air.
