That wood pile should keep you warm for a while during the STHF.

Oh man that one's got twins. Nice SC projects that have all their parts is very rare now days. Lots of hard work ahead starting with the total gut and on to hull repairs.

Never have used 1/4" rivets only 3/16". Machine screws and nuts will work, I'd use nyloc nuts so you don't have to worry about them loosening up.

    1968 StarCraft Holiday restoration

Talk about a crying shame, makes me feel a bit sick to my stomach to see the pics and knowing how much hard work as well as heart that went into your holly. 😢

What year hulls are the same as the 1968 Holiday 18'?

Far as I know hulls for the holiday and Chief have been the same from 1965 until late 70s, 1978 for sure from what I've seen.

    68 Offshore restoration

Am I seeing that right, it looks to me like the spray rail split out and someone beat the heck out of it with a hammer to close it up and then put some chicken scratch welds on it? Be sure to inspect the bottom closely for any rib end cracks as well.

    1978 SS 16 restoration

Looking super nice! Just about there. My rebuilds took over a year and that was working on them every free minute. When I started getting a bit burned out, I took off some time from work and did a resto blitz week rather than stopping progress and that put me over the hump for just finishing...

    1987 Starcraft Islander 220V Rebuild

Looking great! 👀 Won't be long now, the tough part is behind you on this one. On the foam, nothing dams and then soaks up water like expanding foam as it does conform as well as bond to the Al while the foam board just sits on it allowing water to pass underneath to the center low point.

Searching for a Starcraft transom cap.

Those type caps are rare as hens teeth, mainly because they have that handle and guys use them as tie downs which will break the cast Al.

I have a new system still in the box I haven't used because it was much easier to just take a Bluetooth speaker and play from my phone.

I'd venture a guess at around 1800 - 2000 lbs tops with your trailer.

1982 Starcraft Center Console 18' Rebuild

How large are the corrosion holes and areas that are weakened? A closer pic showing the corrosion would help. Assuming this is the keel strake and only where the 2 red dots are but I also see you have removed the other 2 strakes as well.
