Will a 3.0 run on 1 spark plug???

The wires were probably not seated. and yes, a motor running at some speed can run on a few cylinders. it wont run well. V6's and V8's will run on as little as two cylinders.

Running Volvo Penta 4.3GL with outdrive removed?

The rams won't go anywhere, even if you drive 3000 miles Your over thinking stuff getting into the bellows, unless you back into the water, just won't happen Other than making sure the boat is properly secured to the trailer, simply follow the speed limit and have working brakes on the trailer

Rebuild old mechanical Fuel pump or go for Electric Fuel pump

A replacement mechanical pump is $50 an SAE J1171 compliant fuel pump is $87, the relay, oil pressure switch and wiring to properly wire it is another $20. then you need to add proper USCG approved fuel plumbing which is another $20. so stick with the mechanical fuel pump.
