    V-P 5.7 Gxi intake on 383 stroker?

You need the Y pipe for a big block as the width and height of the engine is bigger than the small block You can use the drive plate on the 5.7 You set up the electric fuel pump using an oil pressure switch and relay or you can use the diodes Regarding the divorced choke you posted. Has...

    Clamp Ring Seals

It's in the manual I sent you It's also in the stickies in the write up from the great Don S With the required new O-rings, lightly coated with grease. Start with the clamp ring loose As you clamp the PDS, you also align the housing. Using feeler gauges, you set the gap at the 9, 12, and 3...

    Stringer positions and design -stejcraft

Ply wood is significantly stronger than dimensional lumber. You can use poly foam if you want for stringers if you add enough layers in the encapsulation You can build a cradle on the trailer if needed

    V-P 5.7 Gxi intake on 383 stroker?

I put my BBC in front of the DP290 drive with 1.95:1 gears. I just jumped from B5 / B6 props to B7 / B8s no need to change drive The EFI and ECM is there because GM switched from Carb to EFI on the trucks. You can add knock control if you want, however detonation isn't really an issue...

    Leaky boat

Most likely the plastic lines and fittings for the livewells are cracked or leaking. The good news, that is fairly inexpensive to repair yourself. The bad news is you have to disassemble nearly the whole boat

    Ballast Resistor or not?

You should have 12 volts only when cranking. The ~9 volts is so you do not burn the points up when running. You have a resistance wire in your engine harness vs a ballast resistor

    V-P 5.7 Gxi intake on 383 stroker?

You could swap to a Duramax diesel, or a Big Block or simply go to a carb on an SBC stroker

    Stringer positions and design -stejcraft

The center stringer is short to have a garboard plug The bulkhead may be fine with enough tabbing. However I am not a naval architect. How this is the hull at the keel? You have a lot of items in the boat to remove prior to going farther. Pull all the interior bits. I highly recommend...

    Primary Input Shaft

Yep....Was on a buds boat I was following. Sheared gear tooth came between the input gear and forward gearset in the transmission at WOT. Split the transmission. Instant 4800 RPM to 0. I could smell the gear oil from 300 ft away. He got a rebuilt drive for a bit over $10k. I bought the...

It's in the manual (you tighten until you seat the ring) Get new o-rings (also in the manual)

    Primary Input Shaft

I'd you rebuilt the PDS correctly, you can put well over double the power your 5.7 is putting out I now have a big block in front of my 1988 DP290 (technically a DPA1) The weak link is the input shaft end in the gearbox in the input gear. NOT the 1-5/32 inch diameter 26 spline version plugged...

    Sky ski?

I have the rubber bindings on the standard skis. The trick skis have buckles similar to snow bindings. The very short-lived version before the current bindings Best shot I can get without moving the drill press and engine hoist to get them down
