    Ayuh,..... The only "Auto-tabs" I'd consider is Smart Tabs,..... If yer goin' with Bennetts, or Lencos, I'd rather just adjust 'em myself, as needed,.....

    Ayuh,...... Welcome Aboard,...... Pull abit of the gas, 'n Smell it,..... If it Smells like gasoline, it'll burn,... If it Stinks to high heaven, it's gone bad,.... 'n ya, the pump will prime itself, provided the tank will give up it's fuel,..... Some of the reasons it might not give up...

    Ayuh,...... Sounds like it's goin' lean,..... When ya change the fuel filter, examine the contents of the old one in a clear vessel, for anything but clean fresh gasoline,..... I'd try runnin' it on a remote tank, hooked right to the new fuel filter, to diagnose that side of the fuel system,....

    Ayuh,..... It's very common that the motor has to be lifted a couple of inches to swap the steerin' cable,..... Especially those that use the tilt tube for the cable mount,.... 'n be sure to grease the 'ell outa the tilt tube/ cable interface,.....
