    Perhaps too much pitch on the prop.-----You need to install a new water pump impeller.----Inspect exhaust tuner while lower unit is off.

    Motor cowling makes it a 76 model I think.---Motor will run / idle all day with 40:1 mix and do no harm.----Just another example of how the concept of 2 strokes and oil in gasoline is mis-understood.

    Fuel pump diaphragm ruptured ?----Exhaust tuner plugged ?-----Post actual compression values.

    The head is warped.----So refinish it with emery paper and a piece of glass.----Head gasket may have been leaking.

    They have to be offset.-----That is how the space between vanes changes for the pump to work.
