    Ayuh,...... I'd put a new coil in,.... Then ohm the wires, as you say the rotor, cap, 'n plugs are good,..... Carbon trackin' is real, replacin' the coil fixes that,..... Ohmin' the wires might lead to the why,.....

    Ayuh,..... I think we Do agree,.... even the plastic covers can / will leak, without a rubber washer,......... An o-ring is barely a "til I can find a washer" fix,....

    Ayuh,...... If yer Lucky,..... it might be a 1.84, which you should be able to prop down too,.... What pitch was on the 1.98,..??

    Ayuh,..... Without usin' a rubber washer, water will chase the stud, right down the intake,.... Even an ole o-ting will help,.... Jerm,.... Welcome Aboard,...... In yer 1st picture of the top of the motor, I Knew yer problem,.... Rust tells the tale,.... Glad ya figured it out...

    Ayuh,..... The 1.50, or the 1.65,..?? I think yer gonna find, that with yer little 4 banger,.... They don't make props for the Alphas that small,..... 15" is the smallest,... Been there, Tried that,.... Years ago,..... That's the reason I stuffed the 4.3 into the ole fishin' barge...

    Ayuh,...... Are the balls, Just touchin' the housin', closin' off the water,..?? They don't need much pressure, but the balls need to properly seat into the housin',.... Run without 'em, leads to overheatin' at idle,.....

    Ayuh,..... Clean spark plugs, ain't good,.... Any grey specks, or rounded edges,..?? Good plugs are cream in coffee brown,.... Only sounds I hear in yer vid is bubblin' exhaust, 'n protestin' u-joints, bein' trimmed up so high,....

    Ayuh,..... Depends on the pressure, 'n flow of yer garden hose,...... Bein's ya just bought it, I'd go through the raw water pump, as preventive, 'n to know what yer startin' with,..... Personally, I'd service it from pulleys to prop,... Just to know exactly what I'd bought,.....

    Ayuh,.... So, is it from the side cover behind the distributor,..?? From the distributor,..?? From the fuel pump,..?? Or the oil filter,..??
