    Lot of GM OEM pads are TRW. I think the service pads are Akebono. GM dealers have access to 2 separate product lines. OEM and service. Service is good quality but not OEM and the OEM. All boxes are marked AC Delco.

    FWIW Magneti Marelli is a European company. They were/ are known for good MG parts. The Jeeps that get MM brakes are likely the French jeeps like the Renegade. Akebono OEM’s for a ton of companies and are high quality if you can find them.

    I like the Bosch ceramic pads or the Raybestos R line ceramic. I use them interchangeably on my personal vehicles. Get them from Rock Auto as I do 99% of my car parts

    1993 OMC could be a Ford 5.0L. If it is, than a FL1A oil filter will do. Fram 8873 would work as a cross reference for a GM filter. Beyond nicer paint there is no reason for a marine filter, especially if you change your oil like you should. G791 is a good cross reference for the fuel filter

    Quick and rough stand can be built out of 2 pallets and a couple scrap 2x4s.. quick and not so cheap method would be an engine stand with a plank bolted to it ( not tall enough for XL shaft )
