From an operational standpoint, it doesn't matter. From a continued support standpoint, yes

    1900ESX Prop Cavitation?

Is it cavitation or slip/flex? Have an old 14 x 19 aluminum prop with little, if any cup left that does the same thing. No problem over-powering it coming out of the hole Take it off and put the 15 x 15 Stainless prop back on and the problem goes away.

OX 66 - 250 , -2 stroke has a small coating of oil bottom of engine housing after use ?

Oil laying about and 2 strokes go hand and hand. The nature of the beast ;) How old are the fuel and oil line? The oil line will start to permeate over time. Same thing for oil tanks. All bets are off after 10 years of service

    Which towing position

I've towed in position #2 using the trailer lock, in case of hydraulic failure, on my motor for the past 20 years now. In reality, the center of gravity of an outboard (power head) is sitting almost directly over the steering tube. Makes little, if any difference to the forces exerted on the...

    Livewell Pump Noisy

A squealing pump is typically a "dry" impeller or commutator bushing. It may or may not stop with some run time. Run it until it fails

    Prop performance question

The "rules" only apply to props of the same design. The Enertia is a pretty heavily cupped prop. All bets are off when comparing props of different designs. https://www.miwheel.com/propeller-cupping/

    Moving the filter

My bad.....considering most motor manufacturers recommend the use of a 10 micron or better fuel filter, a rock and stick collector isn't the first thing that comes to mind when someone says "fuel filter"

    Merc prop selector

If you have concerns go with the Merc Flo-Torq SSR FWIW: The Enteria prop rattled horribly when trolling. Ended of changing out the Merc Flo-Torq II (Delrin) for a Rubex RBX hub (rubber) to eliminate the Noise

    Stainless Prop Film

Here is a test for you...... Remove the positive battery cable from the battery. Test for continuity between the positive battery cable and the prop. Should be an open circuit. Next, test for continuity between the prop and the negative battery terminal. Once confirmed, switch your meter over...
