    Need advice

So, which one of their (Promar) engines should you have ordered? I assume it is one of their catalog'd engines? Is the price that much different? Are they wanting shipping fees in that amount? Did you pay shipping to return?

1988 Four winns vista 245 Shower sub pump

If you Google "Four Winns Vista 245 sump" there are a few owners manuals that come up and show various locations for the sump pump. Take a look at those and it may give you some ideas of places you have not looked yet.

    HELP! 2000 Silverline Window

Greetings . . . Boat windshields and related glass are fairly hard to come by. Taylor Industries makes many of the windshields that boat manufacturers use. There are also a few aftermarket places like this one . . . https://www.boatwindows.com/boat-windshield-replacement/

    20 Member family Vacation

Cruise . . . I recommend Disney or Royal Caribbean. AirBnB - Could rent a (big) place (probably USA) and do more 'home-based' stuff. All-inclusive resort - number of rooms as needed. We did that right before Covid ( New Years 2019/20).

    Engine Fire

Insurance Warranty (maybe) Post pictures so we all can see. The 380 HP is the GM 6.2L engine, IIRC. Sounds like the electronics went up in smoke? Pictures may tell more of the story.

    Mercury Smart craft assembly

It may not be all that simple, and I'm not sure how good SmartCraft was in 2003, as that will be you limiting factor. It sounds like you need a Smartcraft 'conversion kit', but it may take some research as to which one. You will probably need a set of the Smartcraft gauges as well. It might...

    Wood rot HELP

My condolences on the inheritance. . . . As the others have stated you will have to chase the rot until you find no more. Perhaps the cabin structure rot is from a leaking head compartment, but you may find additional rot going aft. You will be finding 'stringers' (structural members that go...

    Vinyl replacement

Greetings, Have you Googled? Lots of places that sell marine vinyl. I generally prefer Nautolex, Boltaflex, or Morbern brand vinyls. Look for about 20 oz/ sq yard weight.

    1990 Bayliner 2651 resto

You will find as you proceed that Bayliners were not well made in that era and much of the wood structure was minimally coated with resin/glass/gelcoat. The boat was intended to last about 15 years, so you get the idea of it being past its intended life. Since it is a cruiser (rather than a...
