    Did they actually have the motor running while the hose was connected to flush port? I have a Yamaha F150, both my mechanic and manual say to not run the motor while only using the flush port.

    Check the alternator charging current capacity of your outboard. You may be able to run two batteries with a 1-2-all switch. I'd go into more detail but you need to know that spec first.

    Ever think of starting a mobile outboard service biz? You can start with a lower overhead by working out of a truck while you learn the game. Where are you located? Here in So. Cal. someone is always asking for a reliable mechanic. Most of the shops are booked up most of the year around here.

    Technically you need one. Is the manufacturer of your boat still around? If you can at least read the spec's maybe you can find a company that make metal placards. It depends on your situation I wouldn't even worry about it.
