    Washdown Pickup Placement

Both my raw water and bait well pumps are both on scoop intake facing forward. Pushes water through the pumps at any speed. Comes in handy on anchor since I don't have to run the bait well pump. Just shut the intake off when not in use. Has no effect at all on the wash down intake. Blaster Pro...

    Connect Lowrance to Yamaha engine

A gateway “translates” CAN (automotive) to the Marine Industry standard NMEA 2000 communications protocol. NMEA 2000 was developed as a standard communication protocol to allow “plug and play” compatibility between all “certified” marine devices regardless of manufacturer. Some electronics...

    Fuel Vent

Is your boat outboard or onboard powered? Outboard powered don’t have fuel canisters Boats are notorious for having the fill on the lowest portion of the fuel tank while in the water. More than likely you filled the vent (trap) with fuel. Remove and blow out with compressed air

    Live well overflow question

I would say you’re missing the fact that the over flow, if it ever had one, was replaced with a side mount thru hull.

I drive upwards of 30k per year. My daily driver (Civic) has 199k. The F150 (Ecoboost) has 52k and my wife’s Mazda 3 has 60k miles. All changed when the light comes on at roughly 6k miles. The F150 and the Civic get the “house” oil at the local oil change shop. The Mazda 3 requires synthetic...

Mercury bigfoot 60hp what running battery voltage is normal? 12.6-12.7v currently. Replace stator now?

Sound like you charging system isn't working. Charge voltage varies between motors but typically 13.5 to 13.9 volts I would not replace the stator w/o doing some troubleshooting as other things can cause problems in the charging system, as you found out by replacing the regulator w/o the...
