    Well I think that hybrids are charged from the grid.----Then when battery runs low the engine starts to generate expensive electric power to get you home.----When you get home you charge the battery from the grid.

    I worked in a large generating station.-----Fact----Most folks including politicians have little to no understanding of VOLTS / WATTS / AMPERES / POWER and how much it takes to keep these batteries charged.

    VRO was never offered on that 2 cylinder block.----I can't believe the number of new fuel pumps sold for these motors.-----Very little can go wrong with these pressure driven pumps.

    Here is my approach.-----Buy a nut.----Split the nut.---Hold the 2 halves on the crank with a hose clamp.----Use some diamond compound and lap the threads/-----Clean threads and try a new nut.----Repeat as needed.

    Not likely.-----He states that carburetors were cleaned.----Then states they were also rebuilt !

    Thermostat in place and working ?----The 130 PSI cylinder is suspect.-----Some will argue but I would remove the head for inspection.-

    Most 4 strokes use a pump driven by a lobe on the camshaft.

    Electric vehicles are going to need a lot of power.----Many countries might dam up the rivers for generation of power.----But a 100 years from now do we need cheap electric power or fish to eat ??

    Check wires from powerpack and make sure they go to the correct coils.----The sky is blue.----Grass is green.-----Orange wires to top coils must have a blue stripe.

    Take the carburetor off.-----Inspect.----Report the number you find on the high speed jet.-----Yes this powerhead was marketed as a 20 hp for many years.

    That manual primer can be fitted to any motor from 3 to 300 HP.--From 1960's and newer.----Agreed on a 50 year old motor a complete evaluation needs to be done.

    It appears that around 1990 ( 30 HP prop rated ) they fiddled with different a fuel pump.----With that extra pulse port for some strange reason.----Using 2 ports would make no difference in engine operation.----You can block off the extra pulse port.

    Correct , the 76 was mounted directly over the pressure port , with a hose for fuel in and one for fuel out.
