    what size kicker should I get.

    Also as important is the set up for the kicker. No doubt about it. I have a 19ft cuddy and can run a 3.5hp merc 4 stroke to push it just over 4mph at 2/3 throttle. Just because it’s well set up.

    Hi. Open the carb drain screws and pump the fuel priming bulb. If there isn’t fuel coming out..it will tell you a story. Perhaps one that says you have the fuel line and primer going the wrong direction…best case scenario

If she is a 5.7 gxi VP for example…you’re talking 320hp and punching over 5000 rpm. Compared to not much older big blocks that struggle to equal that Hp and won’t see 4600...

    Sounds very normal to me. On the muffs you’ll notice water coming out the transom assembly and the prop (with exhaust).
