    ok....got out on the river today. It was windy and a little rough. But I saw 27 mph and 6000 rpm. with the black max, 3 blade, 16x13...I think I'm where I want to be. I did not have the full bimini up..so there's that....I don't think the spitfire, 4 blade, 14x12 would be better......

    You're in the right rpm range, so no help there. Here are my results: Just me on board....'06 Lowe 24' twin 25" tubes pontoon, double bimini. '05 Mercury 60 hp, 4cyl., 4 stroke, efi, big foot (ct)....20 mph ( cool day, cold water) My new mercury 115hp, CT.......26 mph, but, that's at 55-5600...

    Prop ?

    update....so that hustler prop won't work on my CT gearcase as the prop hub is too small...as discovered by info from this site.... so a black max, 3 blade, 16x13 is on...will test come late april.... If it doesn't do what I want, Im going with a spitfire 4blade, 14x12....

    yep...a14x13, 4blade, 4.75 hub would be the ticket,...figures there isn't one..... the 14x12 would take me over max rpm when it's just me...but loaded down might be ok, use the tach......if this 16x13 doesn't work...I'll just get that... I'm just glad I now know about gearcase size....the...
