    Powerpacks are the same thing on a 4 HP or 60 HP.------Provide a pulse to 2 sparkplugs

    In my opinion the original lower unit to your motor had a design flaw.-----The lower unit on there now is a good one.----But if you just bought this motor you never know what was installed.-----I would take that apart in a heart beat for inspection / new seals.----Easy for me to do !

    Your local automotive store will have what you need for about $15 or so !!!-----Or borrow a few dabs at your local garage !

    A dealer may have an adapter cable.----Or do it with a terminal board and bypass " plugin " convenience.

    New powerpack fixes it 9 out of 10 times.-----Or perhaps do some testing with a multi meter , of the parts that feed into the powerpack.

    Looks correct.-------Check the wee orange bladder ( fuel pump element ) that is operated by that hose from crankcase.

    Charge the battery.---Load test the battery,----Test for spark again.

    No such thing as an electric primer solenoid on a 4 HP motor !

    The bulb on the hose is a manual fuel pump.-----It simply fills the carburetor for starting.----If motor starts and quits after 15 seconds try again.-----And if motor keeps running when you operate the bulb you have proven that fuel pump on the moor is not working.----Or there are no crankcase...

    Fine silicon carbide will be the stuff to use.-----After one try you will see how much lapping needs to be done to get the perfect fit / match of the tapers.

    A MERC-O-TRONIC magneto analyzer does the testing.----Do not forget to heat soak condensers for testing !

    Prices on Amazon sometimes include the " free delivery " -----And can be a good deal for someone who lives miles from a store.------After all coffee at the drive through is about $30 a gallon .----Convenience costs big $$$$
