    Simple and cheap way to find leaks. Cut cardboard into smaller pieces and slide them under the complete engine area. Also under fuel line and rubber hose.

    If you run at WOT for hours ? Good luck with any oil. I know 2 people who do. Sell their boats every 2 years.

    Trolling motor circuit breaker issue

    Normally pushing down a C B causes it to stay down and supply power to the motor. Are you testing it with the battery connected ? Or doing it with no battery connected ? It should stay down either way.

    Solar charged battery question

    It is a chemical reaction of Copper plated connectors. Ihave had it eat away plus or minus battery post connectors. Copper plated any metals. Will corrode after several months. Damp locations, are the worst locations.

    Those pointy edges would destroy the rod grip material in 1 trip. I vote for a set of top arched poles. Those teeth prevent the poles from rotating.
