    Anyone’s guess these days. The new merc 4 strokes have totally changed my way of thinking the old way. I know that a new mercury 115 2.1 4 stroke is way more powerful than a mercury 125 optimax for sure. Likely it’s around 130-140hp in reality. Perhaps an exception to most maybe. Not sure.

    No. Tempest 19 had more rpm than a 20” enertia. By about 100/120 rpm. But lower rpm than a 21” aluminium 4 blade spitfire.

    Sounds electrical for sure. I’d check all the usual battery terminals and the main earths. Also the lanyard kill switch system too.

    Excellent. I always drain using the valve. Then take off each quick connect fitting. Pour in some AF and price it comes out each individual drain at the source. Then you’ve proven they aren’t blocked. Connect it all back up again. Fill to the brim with AF. Block and exhausts until it comes out...

    Got to be the outdrive then. If there is nothing staring at you in cylinders that’s obviously dry or sticking.

    Even telling us what outdrive it is might help. If it’s a merc alpha or pre alpha...and you still just need to start somewhere...I’d start with a 17” pitch black max and go from there. Likely only a couple of inches off at worse.

    Oil pressure sender sounds like the issue here. I’d also cation that if that 180 degrees reading is genuine and off the smart craft too...you are on the verge of overheating...or even on it.

    Smartcraft error message "A shift fault has occured."

    Was going to say. Be the shift interupt switch or more likely on occasion...the switch needs slightly adjusted my only mm’s if the throttle assembly is contacting it. Happened to mine. Doesn’t clear the error until you get it cleared.
