    disconnect the plug at the pump,take a jumper from the pos battery and insert into one of the openings. almost certain the vertical one is a positive and the horiz ones are blue and green insert the jumper in all 3. power to power ,noting will happen, blue will raise the drive ,green will lower...

    any GM inline 6 cylinder that has the 2 threaded holes to the left of the timing chain cover for the front motor mount. poss replacements the in line 4 FWC mercruiser ,shorter than the 6, would need to fab up a new front stringer then a v6 ,would need to fab up new front stringer motor mounts...

    1) Is there supposed to be rust by carburetor? There was water in the top of the manifold by carburetor and carb was filled with water. drain plug left in and sunk on land? tarp failure ?

    It was working correctly on hose 3 days ago but who knows. haha Should never operate on a hose, only in the water with a load on the prop. Operating on land means you need a lower shift cable

    If you dislodged /damaged the transom seal silly putty is not a fix. Can lead to a rotted transom
