Will boat for this style trailer?

I’ve been looking online and there really ain’t a bolster small enough to do what I’m hoping for. Doubling up the 1x4 or 2x4 on the bunks seems to be the easiest plan.

What do we think about this: from stern to now Leaving bunks as is at stern mount at transom, mounting 1x4 under middle set is hardware, mounting 2x4 under furthest to bow hardware to create angle.

Will boat for this style trailer?

I put a keel roller under bow last night: it had helped raise front of boat up a little. I will raise bunks as well and we should be good to go!

Will boat for this style trailer?

I don’t know they can be raised without some external parts. I’m sure I can buy something though. I just learned last night there is a difference between Jon and v hull trailers. (I’m sure everyone else knows this already) The cross members on the v hull trailer will be recessed to prevent just...

Will boat for this style trailer?

Here is the boat on my new trailer. Lots of good. It’s going to work. I’d say it’s a touch short but way better than it was before. I did run into a little bit of trouble with the keel running against the third crossmember (closest to bow). The river is WAY down so I think I’ll probably get a...

Before I get too deep into swapping trailers…will this style trailer work? I bought this trailer and Jon boat Monday. I wanted this trailer (2019) to replace my misfit other one.

    Trouble launch and loading boat

And this is where things get really confusing on this motor…the transom bracket shows a 1977 model number. The impeller for a 1977 is one of the bigger non through hub exhaust size impellers according to Crowley marine engine.com. The impeller did not fit. I think I ended up ordering parts for a...
