    That works but I have multiple trailers and, especially with my travel trailer, the Sherline is quick and easy. Have also used it on many of my friend's trailers.

    The adapter circuit is actually not just diodes. Easier and cheaper not to make it yourself.

    When I used to store my trailer outside, I put a plastic bag over the EOH unit throughout the rainy season. It was open at the bottom so it could breathe but kept the rain from hitting it.

    On my last trailer, I just used rubber lines(bought premade) from my EOH controller to the axles where there was already stainless tubing going across the axles.

    You apply power to the yellow wire and it works? What if you manually apply 12v to the blue wire which is normally driven by your brake controller? BYW...that is one of the tests.

    Ripjmk is correct...the ECM creates the ground path. You will not be able to measure it at the connector.

    I had a trailer that used that same sized race that you have. I didn't buy my races and bearings until I pulled them off the hub to check the numbers. Same applies for the seal.
