    just helps as a seal/lube as the nose of the upper gear housing pushes into the bellow.

    You can just put some grease on the lip of the bellows. Make sure you replace the o-rings on all the oil plugs. There are 3 of them including the dipstick.

    Yep...take that into account and fill it later.

    When I drain my Bravo 3 drive, the lube bottle also drains at the same time. When I fill, I fill from the bottom until it reaches the vent. Install drain and vent plugs and then fill the gear oil bottle.

    We love ours so far. On this current tank, we are averaging close to 60mpg since we do a lot of local driving.

    Yep...used in cars like my mom's Buick which sat under the rear seat. The vent went under the car through the floorboard.

    We just bought our plug in hybrid Hyundai Santa Fe last week. Nice never having to put in gas if all we do is local trips.

    I had an oil cooler fail on my 7.4L Volvo Penta but was likely just metal fatigue rather than corrosion that caused it to fail.
