What does the choke do on a Suzuki EFI??

why is it starting and running OK if the IAC is stuck in the closed position? How are you trying to sending Electricity thru it? It is a stepper motor, so you cannot make it work properly by just giving it 12 volts.

    1996 Yamaha 15hp rebuild

If that motor has the pressed together crank, the rods are part of the crank assembly. if nothing is wrong with the crank rods, and pistons you might get by with reusing them. what bolts did you break, and can they be drilled and timeserts or helicoils put in and still get your old motor up...

    Clicking noise in neutral

most lower units are spring loaded into forward, which means the linkage needs to compress the spring to get to neutral and reverse. so if the unit only makes the noise in neutral, there is a good possibility the linkage is holding things too far out of neutral to clear the clutch dogs. I...

1984 Yamaha 25 hp SN No Spark

do a web search for CDI electronics trouble shooting guide. it will give you the basics on what and how to test the kill switch ground the spark voltages to stop the motor/spark. that is where I would start looking if you have good peak voltages out of the charge and pulser coils
