    not sure about the zuks, but some motors have a fuel cooler and if that does not cool things properly the gas in the VST can boil out shoving all of the vapors into the intake causing too rich envirment during restart

    the bottom(#3) looks a little darker than the top 2 which are white. pin hole in the pump diaphragm will let extra fuel into #3 crankcase that or #3 needle and seat not closing off completely could also either of those will not let primer firm up completely

    does not sound like lower unit problem to me, it goes into gear just fine. does it keep making that noise while idling along, or is it just some seconds after putting into gear ?

    over heat should not shut off a motor. maybe if you let it overheat to the point it locked up it would. if you can get it to start on muffs with the cowling off you could see where water is coming from

    running that pump with no fuel in the VST probably smoked it. it uses the fuel to lube and cool the pump/motor. but you need to make sure the pump is getting voltage and the ECU is giving it a ground path

    I sure hope the drive shaft for that pump was removed also. with no oil running thru the pump and it is being driven still could be bad

    I am not sure what you are trying to say. are you saying that one fuel pump will flood all carbs? the other poster was talking about if the pump diaphragm leaks, it will flood #3 crankcase and not affect all 3. which is correct.

    Tank pressure should not flood a motor. I had an old metal tank before on a 35 hp Evinrude that the primer bulb blow up on when I stopped at my parents house and let it sit in the sun for a few hours, but it never flooded the motor
