the connector itself comes in the harness. from a sealing point of view, they sort of suck.
I personally would swap that connector with a Deutsch or Amphenol DT/AT series connector

Your pump was supplied originally by Carter fuel systems to GM which supplied the long block to Mercruiser
Summit Racing has them for a reasonable price. Your local NAPA can also supply the proper marine fuel pump
40-50 years ago, when the motor was new and maintained, it was a good motor
However 40-50 years later, with unknown maintenance and operation, who knows
As posted above, get it cheap enough. Plan on putting time and money into it
