    Not knowing your motor serial number but having TKS carb you most likely have EST ignition Check to see if you have 12V at the coil when cranking If not look at the key switch

    Welcome Agree light should go off once motor is started. Having a new motor installed, it is most likely something was connected incorrectly. Only way I know of to find out why it's on is with a scanner
