    Don't know for sure but my Rinker had a switch added by the dealer. The issue is the digital depth gauge would get messed up, and to fix you would turn it off then back on It looks like same thing

    Agree Start measuring and cleaning connections. Might start with the key switch, than with the 10 pin engine connector

    Welcome Sorry to say it wouldn't be the first time that a new dizzy sensor is bad out of the box. First is the sensor you bought a Merc one or aftermarket? Next does the new sensor have 2 or 3 wires? Put a voltmeter on the Plus side of the coil and crank, do you see 12V while cranking?

    The neutral safety switch is inside the throttle control, so it's out of adjustment, loose or needs replaced. It can be bypassed easy enough but would not recommend it. Just think you move the handle forward and you think it's in neutral but its not

    You can store with it full up, but many including my self do not. Storing it full up keeps the bellows stretched out. Over time it will cause cracks sooner.     It should read close to that It's real hard on the bellows and the U joints Should be no higher than the trim limit
