They don't have to be loose to leak. It could've been hit and shifted enough to break the seal. Are there any stress cracks around it or anywhere else on the outside of that pod?

I'm predrilling the cabinets to screw into the studs. My mud at the joints is thick enough to set off the stud finder set on deep scan, so it's not much help.
If you want the fill neck pointing the other way, I would just have it cut out and welded back in place. Or maybe a U pipe welded on to turn it. You would need a lot of room and extra hose to get it to turn 180°.
I think right now I would be more concerned about how the water got in than the transom. Is there any damage or hardware on those pods, especially below the waterline?

Hmmmm. Cloth would breathe, and have better drying potential. It would require the cover to be left off for a while though, but they really should be opened up to dry anyway.

The drive sucked. I'm a small town shut in on big 4 or 5 lane highways, in an area I know nothing about, and the gps screwed me up a few times. I made it back though.
Probably the red ones. It was a single bracket for both lights, attached to the panel by the 4 blue marked bolts. I would have to have it in my hands to be sure about the reds.

They eye needs to be against the roller. It's the only thing to keep the boat from starting to move forward in the event of a crash. The other straps and chain would have to stop it after it's already moving.
