Too obvious. Stash it somewhere only you would look. Trunk of a project car or with the grease guns or something.

    Boats from work.

Sorry I haven't been keeping up with this. I've had other stuff on my mind, and have been forgetting to take pictures. Anyway, events so far. After vacation, I did some spot work on an old ranger. Nothing exciting, so I didn't bother with pics. The only thing interesting is that somehow the...

How do you lose a mower on the road?

Reminder to check gear before towing.

I was driving behind a truck towing a boat the other day, and these caught the wind and flew out of his boat. Luckily, there were no other vehicles nearby, and I was pretty far behind. I stopped to pick them up. I was heading home, and he wasn't in town when I got there, so he didn't get them...

1994 bayliner trophy 24 foot walkaround

Well I'm stumped. Where's all the foam?

1994 bayliner trophy 24 foot walkaround

You would have to cut the floor out to do that. You might be able to see a tiny amount under the pedestal seat, some have little circles cut out under them. I'd bet yours doesn't though.

1994 bayliner trophy 24 foot walkaround

The foam is all under the floor in the spaces between the stringers. Water gets to it eventually and saturate the foam.

Probably whatever did this, and put a hole in the center toon, and broke a blade off the prop.

Or not. I was thinking of a different style where you can just pull the cable out.

    Boats from work.

Bosses took off for El Dora for the weekend. A couple guys here are changing toons, and ran into this. How? The steering cable runs through the toon bracket. I'm just going to turn the cable out of the steering box in the dash.

Anchor roller mounted on bow wooden plank

Iboats is under new ownership, and the storefront is no longer active.

Anchor roller mounted on bow wooden plank

I mean it was part of the fiberglass hull, not a seperate piece.

Anchor roller mounted on bow wooden plank

The boat weighs a lot more than you do. I wouldn't do it. I work in a repair shop, but haven't seen many of those. The one that comes to mind, the protrusion in front was part of the hull, and I think it was shorter than your platform. If you wanted to add one, I think you should use a pretty...

    Water in bilge

What kind of boat? Is there any water pumped forward such as ballast bags, livewell, a head? If water is coming around the outdrive, then it's also getting to the transom. You likely have a rotten transom too.

    Best flooring options?

Actually, a floor job on an aluminum is way easier than fiberglass. The hardest part is dealing with all of the rusted screws. I usually end up having to pull the wood through a few of them.

    Best flooring options?

His is a Smokercraft, so aluminum. The textured gel floors you described are also usually on ones where the cap comes down the sides and becomes the floor. Those suck when the floor rots.

    Best flooring options?

Why? Something wrong with yours? That's not very practical for an aluminum boat. You would have lots of exposed screw heads, and still need to cover the gaps and hull sides at the edges.
