    Maybe in part, but Did boat ever run good with old motor at speed with 17P prop? Meaning could reach WOT rpm and all If answer is yes, then the problem is probably your new motor If answer is no, then could very well be the drive Now if it's neither yes or no, then we need more info

    You should have 1.5 to 1 maybe. Motor turns 1.5 for every time the prop turns once

    No way the ratio should be that high. That means the prop is turning faster then the motor, and it should be the other way around

    Agree with JASinII with cross supports Read up on the epoxy resin as to cure times and when recoating can be done. I really like epoxy because it's stronger, but the issue is applying additional coats must be done within a given time frame. If it gets to far past that (24 or so hours) some need...

    Going from 3B-17P to 3B-19P will change rpm 200-300. Changing to 4B prop that is like 17P to 21P Going to need someone better then me to wonder what changing the compression and exhaust stroke for 6 of the 8 cylinders will or will not do to power

    So it was actually a 17P? If it was a 3B-17P, using a 4B-19P is the same as a 3B-21P This brings up another question for clarification. Your original motor did have same firing order as the new cam? Both were and still are 15426378 correct

    Seeing some air is ok so long as it's not constant bubbles, which I don't see. Cooling system IMO is ok. Only thing left is the fuel and that doesn't make any since with compression being good all around. Sorry if this was answered already, but does spark plug number 5 look the same on both motors?

    ok Alpha drive, and 2007 should be G2 When impeller was replaced what did the housing look like? Was there any markings. Wonder if the housing was sealed so it doesn't leak Could put a short piece of clear hose where the drive hose connects to heat exchanger. When boat is running look for bubbles
