Anyone? It seems that this lake association that Ahicks posted about is a different animal. Even so, to have the power to see to it your taxes are raised without much transparency, I’d be packing my bags.
I wouldn’t pay one thin dime till I knew where the money was going. Let me see If I have this right. Who exactly makes up this lake association? Are the officials making these decisions for the entire community elected or appointed in some way? Glad I live in the sticks
Wife and I have done several coast to coast motorcycle trips. 90% on two lane roads. Lots of hidden gems that people pass up checking out. Desert is one of them. Unfortunately it was before the time of cell cams. All my pics are in albums. Lot to see but get out there and do it because America...
Thanks, Is it worth keeping for someone down the road ? Old American motorcycles is my thing. I hate when serviceable original old bike parts get trashed. Once their gone their gone. Maybe accurate resto isn’t really a thing in the boating world?
This has been in my garage for 20 years. I must have picked it up to add steering to a boat in the past. Surprisingly all cables are are free and move easily. Length of cables are about 12 feet. Is this worth anything or should I deep six it.
Heck why not. I couldn’t abandon it. Actually a tree fell on that boat a few years back as well. It’s pretty beat up but still floats and gets down the lake with not one drop of a leak. In the summer I keep it at a local electric only reservoir that I fish.
The one that came out is measuring a tad less than 1 3/8. Measuring the gap on the boat between splashwell and transom, and the gap between corner supports and transom it varies between 1 1/4 and 1 3/4.the one corner is tight at 1 1/4. I was thinking it’d be 1 3/4 as well. Is less a common...
Thanks for the replies, still not out of the woods yet, still need to fab and install new transom wood and tig those castings. More questions on the way.
No the transom wood only goes down about half way. The back bench is so close to the transome it’s hard to get a picture .
Making progress with a cut off wheel, managed to get the first cast corner loose without cracking it.
