    Might be key switch but to verify it needs to not start and then measure voltage at the key Yel/Red wire. If voltage is there may be the assist relay or its connections. Small square relay on top motor (should be more then one, probably 3), and can be had cheap at any auto parts store

    If you hear a beep and then nothing when key is turned to start, most likely the neutral safety switch Turn key and hold in start position and grab the throttle and move it slightly F/R to see if starter will engage

    Thermostat is stuck open, or was removed and not replaced, or somehow was not installed correctly and some how is allowing water to by pass it. Either way need to get back into the thermostat

    The answer is "should" sound off around 205 but like all things it's not exact. Then add into time and other things can change. The gauge also has no connection to the alarm, this is just to provide an reference to driver Are you closed or raw water cooled? Also assume twin motors

    Leak thru the lower aluminum anode bolt, I recently installed them after redoing transom. Do you put silicone around the bolt prior to tightening?

    Need someone with or has had a searay 250 EC or pics of yours. We cannot see what you have and without that we have no clue. Sounds like the black thing was a electronic float switch for the bilge pump and not the high water alarm

    The 6.2 MPI already has a filter prior to the pump. The first 6.2 used Gen 2 cool fuel with a spin on canister filter. Next Gen used a 2 pump housing which also had a filter which is part of the housing. What is your serial number?

    The fuel pump runs when key is turned to start thru the starter. Once motor starts and oil pressure builds and power is applied to keep pump running After 4 years your gas is probably bad.
