    Prop size info

I would ask your engine builder what the recommended WOT is on it. the 3800-4200 was the merc recommendation for the original engine back in the day. Would think that the 13" diameter or porting would allow it to spin up faster, What would probably be even better is dropping to a 17" which...

    Antifreez

If it is five easily accessible drain plugs like on mine , drain the water after each use, takes five minutes. No reason to screw around relying on power to keep a heater going

How To Determine If Motor Is 305 Or 350

Also can look at the label on ignition module will have the engine size on it. It is a 96 or newer vortec so boat likely had a repower at one point

    Glastron SX 175 Gas Smell

Doesn’t look like they paid attention while looking into it. What you describe is not normal and an indication of a leak most likely in vent side of tank - top fitting or hoses.

    Yep, another prop question!

It is so hull and how you want to use your boat specific that it is hard to answer with out any WOT rpm info. Likely the boat will hit mid 40's maybe a hair higher, but likely will want to optimize the prop when you get it broken in. I'm assuming since you have a 4 blade your primary use is...

    Is this dealer legit??

It may be legit. When I sold my old boat listing on CL, I was inundated with consignment places calling trying to angle for a cut of the sale by listing it and connecting me with a buyer...my neighbor sold his boat this way after unsuccessfully listing it for the better part of a year.

    Boating in saltwater

Read up on bravo 3 corrosion issues my friend who is in brackish in a marina put a second mercathode system on with transom pucks in addition to the usual one under the trim hose manifold. Also added a prop nut anode . Does your cav plate have one or two anodes? later ones added a second anode...

    470 swap to 4.3

Outdrive, yes but you would need to go up in prop pitch. I did a 4.3 to 50 swap, went from 19” to 21” pitch wiring, you need the correct harness for your engine but it will plug into your boats harness and work fine. Transom housing yes, but you need the exhaust wye pipe for a V engine. likely...

    470 swap to 4.3

No I am not selling, just one I saw. Would figure $300-400 shipping depending on where you are in WI. Would second green bay prop, not sure of they would do the work too? If you have the room in engine bay given size of boat a 5.0 or 5.7 would be a good power increase.

    Engine flushing

Post a pic of your engine. If it has a closed cooling system you will have a heat exchanger that is about 4" in diameter and 18" long or so right on top front of engine - goggle merc closed cooling system to see what one looks like installed

    omc v mercruiser

No question 96 merc as it is still currently in prouduction. Would also question a pontoon with an I/O. while personally I prefer I/O's, Pontoon boats are the absolute worst application for a I/O.... unless you own it already would look for an OB powered one...
