    Ayuh,..... In freshwater, the bolt heads usually don't rust off, so, Ya, reuse the cleaned up bolts,..... I coat the threads with Perfect Seal, or form-a-gasket #3,...... The crap pluggin' the fittin', Used to be cast iron,...... Those, No Doubt, Froze,....

    Ayuh,....... It'll burn whatever gas ya dump into the tank,...... If yer that worried 'bout it, cut the timin' back abit, 'n fatten the fuel slightly,.... That'll keep detonation at bay,..... The problem will be the ethanol, as it rots some ole fuel lines, gaskets, connection, etc...

    Torque specs

    Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,...... Standard torque for 3/8" bolts/ nuts is 30- 35ft.lbs. but I just use my calibrated elbow for good, 'n tight,..... For cleanin' off the old gaskets, a putty knife, 'n then a rol-lock disc is what I use,.....

    Alpha 1 gen 2 5.7L overheating

    Ayuh,..... Donno what you've got for a trough, but if the water level is all the way up to the trim cylinders,..... That's Ok, as the water pump is at 'bout the same level,...... Most troughs/ tanks can barely get the water level to cover the water pick up holes, which is Not high enough...
