    That looks like the water pump on a bravo drive. Should be some resistance but hard to tell from the keyboard how much is too much … Put a new belt on and tension it see how it runs

    Yes sounds like you need some maintenance on the engine. Cruising at 10 knots doesn’t take any power Getting on plane does. what noise is it making and what engine do you have would look at fuel delivery and ignition system issues

    That is a TB 4 the newer 5.7 should be a TB5 not sure if wiring plugs are the same but kind of doubt it. Have seen tb5 modules either on distributor or on port exhaust elbow . My TB5 module is bigger and rectangular with two square wiring connectors not one large single connector

    A V6 drive should be 1.81-1.84 depending on year … on step in drive ratio is 2” prop pitch change. I repowered a V6 boat with a 5.0, kept the 1.81 drive and stepped up from 19” to 21” pitch

    Alpha one gen one / R//MR or earlier mc1 drive will fit that transom Alpha one gen one went out of production on 1990 so would be the newest that would fit

    Yes makes sense but why would merc have a alpha and bravo module as separate parts? I get it for bigger engines but 4.3, 5.0, 5.7 doesn’t make sense unless something is different look up a bravo wiring diagram green white is constant hooked to ground vs going through shift interrupt on an alpha.
