Not sure of your model but I took a guess. Part number I got was 5007420 eBay has a used one and a new one for WAY less then normal parts places. What sucks is it looks like the elbow you need is just sitting thete Yes, after I posted those I read the new one was Chinese so I agree. What would...

Actually Jimbo, you sent him a picture if you look at the original thing you sent him. He kept talking about it how he couldn't find part numbers so I sent him the link. And now you have resent him the link that I sent him. So let's hope he can get the part numbers correct now! LOL

What are good internet places to get vintage Evinrude parts?

What's funny is everybody's idea of what vintage is. When I talk to some of the young folk the 1980s stuff is some serious vintage!

    1991 20HP Evinrude no acceleration

At the risk of sounding rude, I think everyone knew that. Always nice to prove it to yourself though isn't it. Did you try Craigslist yet?

    Johnson 112spl

Mrdad, you followed a post from 2010 and then a post from 2008. Start a new post, state your outboard year, size and model number, then explain what it is doing and someone can then try to advise you. Sounds like your having a idle issue and that's past my pay grade most likely. Lots of folks...

1990 ish Evinrude 25 HP - Screeching from the controls

Count your blessings. I always love when they fix themselves!

    Quit on the Water!

Okay, and I hope that all works for you. There was another recent post on here where a guy bought both points from Evinrude and sierra. Both of them were not built to the proper specification and he was combining the two. Hope that doesn't happen to you.

‘94 150 fast strike fuel pump part

Not sure about the alarm but yes, you have to buy part number 2 which I assume is the entire pump unless you can figure out a way to make your own. Hard to swallow sometimes but that's life. Maybe you can find a used one.

What are good internet places to get vintage Evinrude parts?

Now that I think of it, surplus new stock is how they word it.

What are good internet places to get vintage Evinrude parts?

How about older, new parts stock? A guy can get confused that's for sure.

    Quit on the Water!

Well cdi makes one too. Here is what I have been told. If Evinrude still supplies it then get that one, if it doesn't then get what you can. For electrical I would probably go with cdi if I couldn't find the Evinrude part. Here is the link. Go below common parts to engine diagram then they list...

    Quit on the Water!

Part numbers should be easy. But I'm confused. Earlier you brought up a link to a 1975 9.9 then Jimbo sent you a 65 sportstwin. Send me your model number and I will send you a link to the parts with parts numbers.

    Quit on the Water!

Well I've certainly learned something here. And then i am somewhat familiar with electric over hydraulics because I had a vehicle with an emergency braking system. I think it was called a Gurling (SP) system. I've seen a cutaway of a G2 and they referred to the engine as a "fly by wire" They...

What are good internet places to get vintage Evinrude parts?

Well your statement is very debatable. I find Craigslist to be the best all around but eBay has more inventory. If you find some secrete place that has vintage outboards parts for cheap please let me know. Otherwise, there are plenty of places that sell new parts. By the way, what do you...

Trim stuck all the way up

I just saw another blog and other than the noise they said it was an air lock situation. Only way to relive it was to open the bleed screw. They also said if you can't get the screw open (very common) than you will have to remove the trim and tilt. They also said low oil can creat that...
