No difference other than the front curtain was 30 mils as well on the Bimini.
Give Plexus a try before tearing into them with a buffer. Does a great job at cleaning and protection
Classic symptoms of a bad or failing connection and or wire.
Gauges are rarely the issue. Pull the sender, (4” dia with cap) test and replace required. Make sure to install a new gasket.
Generic parts…..suggest you replace with aReed type sensor. Much more stabile readings.

The pin is stainless. I used PB Blaster and the wire brush on a bench grinder. Followed up with 400 grit sand paper
For the holes, I sprayed PBB in the holes then took a pipe cleaning brush to them until they shined

From a safety stand point, backing a vehicle out of a parking space has the highest probability of an accident. Fleet vehicles are backed in simply to minimize the risk.

Why do you think you have bad fuel?
A good quality 10 micron separating filter will trap any particles coming out of the fuel tank. Carb issues can usually be traced back to degraded fuel lines.

Windlass is not designed to nor should you “pull the boat towards the anchor” with a windlass.
Always use your engine to power up to the anchor and break it loose. If the anchor is firmly set, tie off the rode and work it out under power.

What are you doing or not doing to it?
A good quality hot dip trailer should last a good long time
I’ve replaced the rear axle and the rear cross member on mine in 15 years of ownership.
Going with aluminum in the next couple of years if I decide to keep it
Dissimilar metals corrosion is the by-product of difference in the electrical potential between two surfaces. Something as simple as a loose or missing grounding wire can set the process in motion.
Simple test...set voltmeter to ohms... measure resistance between the ground bolt on the motor...
If you don’t need hydraulics for autopilot I would save a ton of money, and problems going forward, and just replace the cable.
