    One would think if the "OEM fuel pump" was a viable alternative or substitute for this particular motor, the part would be referenced as such in the parts listing. Would be earlier to rebuild the existing OMS and kept the convenience and functionality of the OMS system.

    Doesn’t act like a grounding issue. Ground wouldn’t activate circuits that are off. Guessing you have power feeding back through ground. Pull the fuse for the bilge pump and see if the problem goes away
